Formed in 1977 by two experienced vacuum engineers, we have steadily expanded and now occupy adjoining factory units on the Thornbury Industrial estate, a few miles to the North of Bristol, UK. As some of you may know, Severn Science Sales and Service Ltd ceased trading on 9th November 2007.
Consequently,
with the full support and at the invitation of Severn Science Sales and
Service Ltd we, Applied Vacuum Engineering, have been asked to both
complete any on-going work formerly undertaken by Severn Science Sales
and Service Ltd and also to continue to trade with the existing
customers of Severn Science Sales and Service Ltd.
Full records have been provided to us to ensure that any transition can be undertaken as smoothly as possible.
We
will endeavour to contact existing Severn Science Sales and Service Ltd
customers on an individual basis, but if in the interim period there is
any way we can help, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
Service, Repair & Refurbishment Centre
At Applied Vacuum Engineering we have an extensive and comprehensive service, repair and refurbishment facility and are the authorised service centre for Varian vacuum pumps and equipment in the UK.
Our service expertise covers most leading manufacturers of vacuum pump and equipment including Alcatel, Edwards (Formally BOC Edwards), Balzers, Becker, Busch, Leybold, Pfeiffer, Rietschle and DVP.
We are also specialists in the complete service and refurbishment of the larger Piston and Booster vacuum pumps including Stokes, Kinney, Aerzen and many other leading brands.
