Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing Systems

 

Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing Systems are suitable where all round vision of the degassing process is required. Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing Systems are also ideal as teaching or demonstration aids where various vacuum experiments such as “Bell in a Vacuum” can be demonstrated to students.


The standard range of Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing systems consist of an annealed Borosilicate bell jar mounted on an Aluminum base plate and sealed with a rubber gasket. A single port in the base plate is connected  to a valve and gauge manifold.

We have two standard ranges of Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing Systems in various sizes(see table below). The SF standard range are fitted with ASTM A 351 Stainless Steel pipe fittings, and the VF standard range are fitted with Aluminum NW/KF vacuum fittings.

We can also manufacture special Vacuum Bell Jar Systems to incorporate electrical lead throughs and fluid/gas connections through the base plate.

As we are suppliers of Vacuum pumps we can also supply a suitable pump at a competitive price to go with your degassing system.

Safety Warning: We strongly recommend that all our Vacuum Bell Jar Degassing Systems are fitted with an implosion guard during use. We can supply Acrylic transparent implosion guards to fit any of our Vacuum Bell Jar Systems.
